On Monday evening, police arrested 9 people, including 49-year-old Khadga Bahadur Adhikari of Gorkha house, resident of Tokha municipality-10, while playing gambling at the house of Mihir Shrestha, resident of Gongbu Ganeshsthan, in the same municipality-9.

The police stationed from Maharajganj police station arrested them with 50,000 rupees in cash, 700 US dollars and 4 books. 

Similarly, police arrested 8 people including 30-year-old Hom Bahadur Gurung of the same rural municipality-2 Tatopani while playing gambling at the house of Sangdorje Sherpa, who lives in eight kilos of Sindhupalchok, Bhotekoshi rural municipality-4.

The police stationed from the local police office Bahrvise arrested them with 19 thousand 684 rupees in cash and 2 jackpot casino machines.  The police is conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
