Bhuparaj Pathak, a journalist from Chitwan, has blood cancer. Pathak, a resident of Madi-4, Simrhani, is currently undergoing treatment at a teaching hospital in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu. Preparations are also being made to take him to India for further treatment.
Bipin Pathak, his brother informed that Pathak was diagnosed with blood cancer two weeks ago due to continuous fever.
Member of Nepal Journalist Federation Chitwan District Working Committee, President of Netherin Yuva Sangh Chitwan, Vice President of City Disabled Utthan Samaj Madi and a communicator of Community Radio Madi. Pathak is also known as a journalist who reads news in Braille script. Along with being a teacher working at Diwakar Smriti Secondary School in Pathak Madi, he also made his name as a folk singer and comedian.
Earlier, Pathak's mother was also taken to New Delhi for treatment last year after being diagnosed with cancer. As the mother's treatment was not completed, Pathak was also diagnosed with cancer, and the family was hit by another thunderbolt. According to the hospital, at least 5 million rupees will be spent on the treatment of
Pathak. Pathak's family has requested everyone to help in his treatment as Pathak was diagnosed with an incurable and expensive disease like blood cancer.
