District Police Office Kavre has recovered drugs from the ambulance. According to District Police Office Kavre, drugs were recovered from the ambulance while the team of Mangaltar of Roshi rural municipality-9 of Kavrepalanchok was checking the vehicle at around 9 pm on Thursday night.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Min Bahadur Ghale informed that drugs were seized behind the driver's seat from the ambulance number J1 F 1908 while taking patients from Bardibas in Mahottari to Kathmandu during regular inspection of vehicles on the BP highway. The ambulance was driven by 44-year-old Suresh Mijhar, a resident of Dhanushadham Municipality-6 Haripur in Dhanusha. 

Deputy Superintendent of Police Ghale said that ambulance driver Suresh Mijhar was arrested with 3000 ampoules of narcotics such as Nufin, Diazepam and Phenargan from that vehicle. On Friday, Ghale was given an extension of five days by the District Court Kavrepalanchok and investigation is underway.
