The problem of Madhesh Agricultural University at Rajviraj in Saptari, which has become unstable due to political conflict, is going to worsen.

After the formation of the Madhesh state government under the leadership of the Janmat Party, vice-chancellor Mahato and registrar Thakur said that the vice-chairman of NITI Aayog had committed irregularities. An investigation committee was also formed under the leadership of Sohan Sah. 

Janmat Party repeatedly raised the issue of investigation in the provincial assembly regarding the controversy that took place on the day of the foundation stone laying, and even engaged in vandalism and disruption of the assembly. In the third session of the Provincial Assembly, the matter was sent to the Provincial Affairs Committee of the Provincial Assembly for investigation. The report of that committee has not yet arrived. Minister Tiwari has tried to keep the vice chancellor and registrar of the University of Agriculture away from financial transactions based on the investigation of the conflict that happened on the foundation day. 

Ratneshwar Goit, Chairman of the State Affairs Committee of the Madhesh State Assembly, said that the State Assembly has given the committee the responsibility to investigate the controversy on the foundation day and is in the final stage of preparing a report with the necessary information from the stakeholders. "We have received the information, now we will sit in committee and prepare a report and submit it to the provincial assembly," said Goit, chairman of the parliamentary committee.

The financial transactions of Madhesh Agricultural University have been stopped recently. The University is not able to spend at the moment because the University Assembly (Senate) has not passed the policies and programs of the University. According to the rules of the university, the registrar and the head of accounts are responsible for conducting financial transactions under the order of the vice-chancellor. 

"I have not received any information about the financial transactions being taken away," said the registrar of the University of Agriculture. Bhagwan Thakur said, 'The university is an autonomous organization, it has its own rules and regulations, the government should not take any decision by mixing the rules. We are not obliged to accept things that are against the law.' 

Mahendra Mahato, head of the Educational Training Center Bara appointed by Minister Tiwari for the financial transactions of the Agricultural University, said that he had received a letter signed by the Minister and said that he was entrusted to look after the financial transactions according to the decision of the Agricultural University Assembly.
