Ghirendra Kumar Sah, the newly elected ward president of Dakneshwari Municipality-1 of Saptari, was detained by the Saptari police on Thursday.
In the by-election held on 16th of November, Sah Jaspa was elected as the ward president from Nepal. On Thursday, the police arrested him in the case of duty killing from the inauguration ceremony.
Ward president Sah is accused of murdering two people in Dakneswari. The case against him was initiated by the order issued by the court. The Saptari police have confirmed the arrest of Ward President Sah and said that the investigation is underway.
