Police have arrested 5 people with drugs. The police arrested 5 people with drugs in three days from different places of the district.

On Sunday afternoon, two people who were suspiciously coming towards Gulria in an auto number 1 H 687 located in Gulria Municipality-8 Bhada were arrested and drug was found. Those arrested are 30-year-old Awadhesh Yadav and 32-year-old Vivek Giri of Gulria-9 Tepri. The police found 1 gram of 220 milligrams of the drug brown sugar with them.

Similarly, 19-year-old Gaurav Tharu of Banke Baijnath Rural Municipality-5, who was coming from India to Nepal on a bicycle, was found hidden by the police with 1 gram of 400 milligrams of drugs when he was checked at Baghaiyatal Rural Municipality-2 on Saturday.

On Friday, on the basis of secret information that drugs were being sold at Gulria-7, 1 gram of 170 milligrams of narcotics was found with 31-year-old Ashok Kumar Yadav of the same ward, and 100 milligrams of brown sugar-like drug substance was found with 43-year-old Ram Prasad Raidas.
