The district court has processed more cases than the target. The annual review data has been released by the court in which more cases have been disposed of than the target set in the financial year 081/082.
In the year 081/082, the annual goal of the court was to dispose of 1,536 cases. In which the court has dismissed 1 thousand 717 cases in one year. It was announced on Tuesday that the court has dismissed 181 cases more than the annual target.
803 cases of the previous financial year have been transferred to this year, said Kapil Paudel, the head of the court. "When new 1,450 cases were registered, the actual amount reached 2,253," he said, "of which 1,717 cases have been dismissed and 536 cases are yet to be dismissed." Regarding criminal cases, out of 148 drug cases, 135 cases have been dismissed and 13 cases are yet to be dismissed. Similarly, out of 49 extortion cases, 32 cases have been dismissed and 17 cases are yet to be dismissed.
2 thousand 410 years 9 months 10 days of imprisonment should be recovered from the criminals of various cases, the court has recovered 1 thousand 27 years 1 month 23 days of imprisonment, while 1 thousand 383 years 7 months 24 days of imprisonment is yet to be recovered. Tehsildar Shridhar Subedi of the court said that out of the amount of 15 crore 41 lakh 21 thousand 507 rupees that should be recovered, 2 crore 84 lakh 53 thousand 496 rupees have been recovered, while the fine of 12 crore 56 lakh 68 thousand 11 rupees has yet to be recovered.
Judge Manoj Shrestha said that 76.20 percent of the cases were dismissed due to the tireless hard work and efforts of the entire court team.
Judge Dalluram Chaudhary said that because of the open border, drug addicts have increased and more cases have been registered. Judge Choudhary also requested to disseminate public awareness news for the reduction of narcotic drugs.
