Bansgarhi municipality has been declared a digital city. Bansgarhi municipality has been announced as a municipality that will provide services to the consumers through digital means in a quick, easy and simple manner according to the concept of e-governance by the local government.
On the occasion of the 17th Municipal Assembly of Bansgarhi Municipality, Municipal Chief Khadak Bahadur Khadka announced the digital municipality on Monday.
On the 29th of Baisakh, a joint meeting held between Bansgarhi Municipality and the National Identity and Registration Department decided to link all the services provided by Bansgarhi with the national identity card and transfer all the services provided by the municipality through digital means. According to the same decision, the service has been started by building Digital Bansgarhi Version-2 so that the service can be taken from home.
It is said that the residents of Bansgarhi municipality can now stay at home and receive services. Bansgarhi Municipality has started providing technology-friendly public services by establishing a local data center.
Kshitij Paudel, Information Technology Officer of Bansgarhi Municipality, said that service delivery through digital means was possible after the last three months of effort. "Now all services can be provided in one click," he said, "because it is linked to the national identity card, all the details of the automatic service recipient (including eye scan, citizenship, voter list) will come." As soon as the
service is selected, the service can be provided in one click. It is said that preparations have been made to carry out the work of the whole plan through digital means from next year. It is said that ward presidents will not have a headache as it is linked to the national identity card. For which the customer has to download the Digital Bansgarhi-2 app from the play store of the mobile. It is stated that one should first open an account in the municipality by filling all the details requested by the app.
Bansgarhi has also submitted a budget of 94 crore 25 lakh rupees for the next financial year 082/083 to the city assembly on Monday.
