Police have arrested four people with drugs. Two people were arrested from Baghaiyatal rural municipality and two from Barbardia municipality.

The police team led by Inspector Rajesh Sahu, in-charge of the local police office, Mainapokhar, arrested two people who were suspiciously coming from India to Nepal on a bicycle in Bagraiyatal-2 Footah. According to the police, 35-year-old Sumit Shahi and 30-year-old Anil Thapa, who were involved in a big robbery in Baghaiyatal-1, were arrested and checked and found drugs.

Both of them found 22,500 cash with 810 milligrams of brown sugar-like brown powder hidden in chicken feed. Both of them are being investigated by the court with an extension of five days and kept at the local police office in Mainapokhar.

Similarly, the police have arrested 25-year-old Dinesh Chaudhary of Gulria-8 Kothia village and 22-year-old Rajkumar Ahir of Ward No. 7 Gulria from Kusumbaghat in Barbardia Municipality-4 with drugs. According to the police, 1 gram of 20 milligrams of brown sugar-like powder was found in black plastic. 3 thousand 646 cash was also found with them. Rishiram Gharti Magar, DSP of the District Police Office informed that both of them have been kept under the custody of the District Police Office.
