Ramechhap has achieved encouraging success in the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2082 released by the National Examination Board.
Most of the students from community and institutional schools in the district have been able to get graded, while 100 percent results have been achieved in technical education.
According to Netra Prasad Gajurel, head of the Education Development and Coordination Unit, Ramechhap, this year, students from 85 community schools and 3 institutional schools in the district participated in the SEE. He informed that a total of 2,280 students, including 2,136 in the regular stream and 144 in the technical stream, participated in the exam.
Of these, 1,854 students have been graded, while 426 students have been non-graded. The district's overall graded percentage is 81.32. 1,710 students have been graded in the general stream. The graded percentage in this stream is 80.06%. Meanwhile, all 144 students participating in the technical stream have been successful in getting graded. According to GPA, the largest number of students are in the 2.81 to 3.20 group. There are 624 students in this group. The number of students who have scored 2.41 to 2.80 GPA is 457.
Similarly, there are 411 students who have scored 3.21 to 3.60 GPA, while the number of students who have scored 3.61 to 4 GPA has reached 286. The Education Development and Coordination Unit has stated that the number of students who have scored 4 GPA from the district this year is 36. Of these, 27 are in the general stream and 9 are in the technical stream.
