The sixth plenary meeting of the UML District Committee held in Manthali on Tuesday decided to send the names of all eight candidates to the center.
UML Ramechhap has recommended the names of eight candidates to the party center for the upcoming House of Representatives elections on February 21.
The sixth plenary meeting of the UML District Committee held on Tuesday at the district headquarters Manthali in Ramechhap, which has the only House of Representatives constituency, decided to send the names of all eight candidates to the center.
According to UML District Chairman Purushottam Kadariya, the names of Madhav Prasad Dhungel, Kailash Prasad Dhungel, Kamal Prasad Chaulagain, Ratna Gautam, Shanti Prasad Poudel, Parashuram Basnet, Keshar Bahadur Budhathoki and Geeta Karki have been recommended for the House of Representatives election.
The meeting also decided to conduct a special election-focused campaign from Paush 25 to Magh 3 targeting the election. In addition, Chairman Kadariya informed that a strategy has been decided to form a 10-member youth command at each polling station in the district. There are 64 wards in 2 municipalities and 6 rural municipalities in Ramechhap.
