The 'National Youth Parliament' campaign has been announced with the aim of involving the youth scattered within the country and abroad in nation building. The 'Global Youth Parliament' announced the campaign on Tuesday in a ceremony at the National Dance Hall in Jamal, Kathmandu, under the chief hospitality of former Chief Justice Sushila Karki.
A campaign has been announced to engage the youth in the democratic process and leadership roles, the 'Global Youth Parliament' has announced. As part of the two-year preparatory campaign, 1 in 1 active youth from all 165 constituencies of Nepal will be selected through profiling, social influence and online voting. ; It is said that it will be selected for the year. The announcement of the young parliamentarians to be elected will be made on Baisakh 1, 2082. In the
campaign announcement program, former Chief Justice Shushila Karki said that 'despotism' prevailed in the country and extreme corruption was openly rampant . 'The tendency to not leave the post until death, to reach the Arya Ghat with the post is democracy? Now the youth must take the lead. But all come to distribute temptation to the youth, be careful .'
Mahanayak Rajesh Hamal said that the youth should always be aware of how to use their energy and should also be aware of their ground realities. What is the youth's reality? What is the challenge? What kind of quagmire are we stuck in? If you don't meditate, how will you escape from the swamp? Therefore, the young generation should become aware and have the ability to drive the country," said Hamal.
Senior journalist and writer Navraj Lamsal said that many people in the country are confused in various ways. "Every person only thinks about how to become an MP, Minister and Prime Minister, but what to do after becoming an MP, Minister and Prime Minister?" No one thinks that, so it is necessary for today's youth to have a vision,' he said.
Backers Manoj Gyawali said that even though the old leaders have brought Nepal to this point after a lot of struggle, now the time has come for the young generation to lead the country, so the youth should be encouraged . Gyawali says that it is not possible to speed up the development of the country despite the political instability and the presence of many parties in the country.
President of 'Global Youth Parliament' Diwakar Aryal said that even though there are many political changes in the country, there is no work to make the citizens financially prosperous. 'The country has become shabby due to economic crisis . The youth who burned in the furnace of despair were forced to sell their labor in the Gulf countries, while the youth who could carry ideas were forced to move to Europe, America, Australia in the name of higher education,' said Aryal, 'the situation of the country and citizens could not be changed even by many system changes There is no alternative for young people with the strength and ideas to join in one place.' In the
event, activist Nigam Humagai said that the campaign will be very important to alert the power centers including Singh Darbar, Baluwatar, as the party officials and the middle class are fed by the world's most expensive taxes paid by the people of poor countries. He also said that by bringing together the youth of the country, their voice will be included in the political and social decision-making process.
