The Ministry of Youth and Sports has awarded the National Sports Award 2082 to the players, coaches and referees on Monday.

9 personalities including players, coaches, referees and doctors have been honored with the National Sports Award. They were awarded with a certificate of Rs 1 lakh each. Kabaddi's Manmati Bista and Anujakulung Rai, Taekwondo's Prem Bahadur Limbu and Bir Bahadur Mahara, Football's Deepa Shahi, Para Taekwondo's Bharat Singh Mahata. Kaviraj Negi Lama of Para Taekwondo, doctor Dr. Raju Dangol Maharjan and boxing's Dhankumar Mainali are among the judges.

Similarly, Sports Journalist Srilochan Rajopadhyay (New Newspaper) has been awarded with the Sports Journalism Award. The amount of the honor is 50 thousand rupees. 9 journalists from different provinces were honored with 25,000 people under the Sports Journalist Incentive Award.
