The 15th NSKA International Karate Tournament organized by Nepal Sotokan Karate Association is starting from Saturday. Shyam Sherpa, general secretary of the organizing association and head coach, said in a press conference on Wednesday that 6 countries, namely Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bhutan, will participate in the tournament.

Association president Bishnu Bahadur Karki said that 40 gold medals will be competed for in the two-day competition to be held at Rakhep Covered Hall in Tripureshwar. Before the competition, the first Wagmati Province open karate competition will be held on Thursday and Friday at Rakhep Covered Hall. About 32 lakh rupees will be spent to conduct the competition.
