A young woman from Rukum West who had reached Dolpa to collect Yarchagumbu has died. 22-year-old Jamuna Bista of Gotamkot Bista village, Aathbiskot municipality-4 died after getting sick from Bista's lake.

Ward Chairman Narsingh Bisht informed that he died while reaching the hill from Lainibagar in Kaike Rural Municipality of Dolpa on Monday. Chairman Bishta says that Jamuna died on the way while she was returning home with her younger sister Saraswati Bishta, who was with her after falling ill after falling ill while reaching a place called Naure in Dolpa to pick Yarchagumbu.

The dead Jamuna's body will be brought to District Hospital Dolpa for post-mortem and then preparations are being made to bring it to Gotamkot.
