Congress Parliamentary Party leader Dilli Bahadur Chaudhary, according to close sources, chief whip Janmjay Timilsina of Bardia, Dhanendra Karki of Gulmi, Saroj Thapa of Pyuthan, Prachanda Vikram Neupane of Dang and Badshah Kurmi of Banke will become ministers from Congress. Except Pyuthan Thapa, who is going to become a minister from Congress, all are new faces. Thapa had earlier become the Minister of Industry and Transport. Ministers are elected from Timilsina Bardia Constituency 2 (1), Karki Gulmi 1 (2), Thapa Pyuthan 1 (2), Neupan Dang 2 (2) Kurmi Banke 3 (2).
Congress is about to enter the government under the leadership of chief whip Timilsina. Chief Minister Chetnarayan Acharya said that even though the number of ministries has been finalized, all the ministers are likely to be sworn in as non-departmental ministers on Wednesday. The swearing-in program of the Ministers along with the Chief Minister has been held at 8:30 am on Wednesday morning at the office of the provincial chief Amik Sherchan in Butwal.
