Police have arrested an accused who absconded despite the verdict of 20 years imprisonment in the case of duty killing by District Court Bardia.

According to DSP Tulsiram Aryal, Information Officer of District Police Office, Bardia, 35-year-old Kush Kumar Choudhary of Bardia Rajapur Municipality-7, who was absconding, was arrested by the verdict of the court on 20th Baisakh.

DSP Aryal said that Chaudhary was arrested by the police team of Motipur area police office while he was hiding on the edge of Bhagwati community forest located in Bansgarhi municipality-3. He was handed over to the district court for action, police said.
