Bhumikasthan Municipality-3 Ratamata village has lost 26 houses due to fire that broke out on Saturday. Among them, 12 families whose houses were completely damaged have been displaced.
About 55 people from 12 houses are homeless and have taken refuge with their neighbors, said the ward president Krishna Prasad Banjade.

Red Cross, District Administration Office has distributed relief. The fire that broke out from Saturday afternoon to overnight has caused a lot of damage. The army, armed forces, police, forest office staff, people's representatives and locals took control of the fire in the forest and village only in the morning.
The police said that more than 5 million worth of property, grain, and other goods were burnt in Ratamata.
