Amrita Koirala, Accounts Officer of BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital, Bharatpur, has been arrested by the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority along with a bribe.
The authority's team arrested Koirala from Balaj Restaurant located at 7 Kathar Chowk, Bharatpur Metropolitan City, this afternoon along with bribe.
Commission Information Officer Govinda Prasad Gautam informed that Koirala was arrested with Rs 150,000 in cash and a check of Rs 450,000. According to him, the authorities arrested Koirala when he was about to take the bribe from a pharmaceutical company. It is said that Koirala is going to take bribe while paying for the purchase of hospital medicines.
