The contracts for 28 different projects in the district have been opened at once. The contracts for various projects for the current fiscal year were opened on Friday from the budget of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development of Koshi Province.
According to Binam Dahal, head of the Infrastructure Development Office, Khotang, contracts for 28 projects worth a total budget of Rs 131 million are being awarded simultaneously. Dahal said that contracts worth Rs 20 million have been opened for the construction of a road connecting Badka Milan Chowk from Savaktahare-Waplukha to Likuwapokhari-Jantedhunga Rural Municipality Center, Rs 20 million for the upgrading of the road connecting Ahale-Regmitar-Sagarmatha Highway, Rs 10 million for the upgrading of the Halesi-Dhitung-Regmitar road, Rs 25 million for the road connecting Halesi-Tuvachung-Eklebar-Janachetana Primary School, Rs 25 million for the upgrading of Hurlung-Damku-Kubhinde-Rawabesi Rural Municipality, and Rs 50 million for the construction of a Chisapani Model Secondary School building.
