UML president KP Sharma Oli was not satisfied with the unanimous verdict of 5 judges of the constitutional bench of the Supreme Court on the matter of Giribandhu T-estate. He said this at a press conference on the occasion of the opening of the UML Central Working Committee meeting.

Oli alleged that he did not intend to do wrong in the Giribandhu land case, instead the Congress government embezzled 70 bighas in the name of land lease. He also said that there should be a case on it.

Oli's expression is that the judge decided without understanding anything. It is a matter of surprise that the top leaders of the party would make such a wrong comment on the court verdict. What if tomorrow a thief or embezzler goes to a press conference saying that he was punished by the court without understanding anything?

The Act itself was amended by facilitating Oli along with Deepak Malhotra for lease of 349 bigha land in Giribandhu. Based on the same law, the Oli government's cabinet decided to lease the land.

That decision was overturned by the Supreme Court. On the contrary, to say that the judges did not understand the need to atone for this, what would it be except Oli's intellectual bankruptcy?
