Congress made a mockery of democracy: Home Minister Lamichhane

Home Minister Lamichhane made such allegations while responding to media persons outside the Parliament building on Monday. He said that there is a constitutional provision to take a vote of confidence in the Parliament after any party withdraws its support to the Prime Minister, and the Congress also obstructed the vote of confidence as per the rules of the Parliament.

He said, "It is an ugly joke of democracy to block the constitutional system of giving a vote of confidence after the party in the government said no vote of confidence for the vote of confidence."

Home Minister Lamichhane said that the government will not focus on individuals but will focus on issues and solve the problems of cooperatives. He said that the demand to form a parliamentary committee and punish the co-operative fraudsters is permissible, but the individual-centered demand cannot be addressed . He promised that the government will work quickly for the justice of cooperative victims. He said that even though the main opposition has raised the slogan of forming a committee based on people, the government will not focus on people but will go towards solving the problem by being sensitive and focused on issues.

He said, 'Form a parliamentary committee, take action against cooperative fraudsters, I also say . The government works fast for the justice of the cooperative victims. The main opposition is raising slogans based on people. We do not focus on individuals, the government is sensitive and issue-focused to solve the problem.'

He said that he did not accuse or threaten the leaders of the opposition while speaking in the parliament.
