Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed high respect and reverence for the founder general secretary of Nepal Communist Party, Pushpalal Shrestha.
On the occasion of Pushpa Lal's 46th Memorial Day, today he shared through social media He recalled that Pushpalal's idea that the communists and the Nepali Congress should jointly organize a people's movement against the autocratic monarchy was proven correct.
'It was he who translated the communist manifesto into Nepali and led the establishment of the party with the aim of ending feudalism and establishing people's rights,' said the Prime Minister.
In the year 2006, on the 10th of Baisakh, under the leadership of Pushpalal, Narayanvilas Joshi, Niranjangobind Vaidya, Nara Bahadur Karmacharya, Motidevi Shrestha founded the Nepal Communist Party in Kolkata, India.
