Nepal Tarun Dal took out a protest rally on Wednesday, demanding the immediate formation of a parliamentary inquiry committee in the cooperative fraud case.

Leaders and workers of the Tarun Dal gathered at Maitighar in Kathmandu took out a rally with slogans up to Baneshwar and the leaders addressed the corner meeting held after the rally.

At that time, Vidhan Gurung, president of Tarun Dal, demanded the government to immediately form an investigation committee in the cooperative case.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs Ravi Lamichhane has been accused of being involved in co-operative fraud, and he said that a parliamentary inquiry committee should be formed and a serious inquiry should be made into the matter.

President Gurung was accused of enjoying power by making trouble for the people who had deposited money in the cooperative for the common people.

President Gurung also expressed his displeasure with the promotion of transfers within the Nepal Police. He said that the police officers are being transferred and promoted before the time is reached, and this will weaken the morale of the police personnel.
