Cholraj Sharma Joshi has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NIC Asia Microfinance Financial Institution. The meeting of the board of directors of the organization said that Joshi has been appointed as the CEO for four years with effect from Monday.

Joshi has taken oath before the president of the institution Prakash Rajasharma according to section 29 of the Bank and Financial Institutions Act, 2073 and reinstated the position. Joshi has about 29 years of working experience in microfinance sector. He holds Masters in Humanities and Social Sciences.
