According to him, during this period, 3,000 new dengue cases were reported in Kathmandu, 1,780 in Chitwan, 857 in Makwanpur, 494 in Bhaktapur, 167 in Kavrepalanchok, 81 in Nuwakot, 79 in Dolakha, 27 in Ramechhap, 32 in Sindhupalanchok and 23 in Sindhuli. found infected.

District Public Health Office Makwanpur has reported that one person has died in Makwanpur due to dengue infection. Provincial Health Director Deepak Prasad Tiwari said that with the onset of summer, the number of dengue infected people could increase, and they are going to start a campaign to find and destroy mosquito larvae throughout the province along with public awareness messages.
